The caretaker answered all our calls and apologized for the trouble, so a star for that. We initially had a good room with a comfortable bed, but the real problem came at night: in the middle of the night, the water stopped and the electricity went out. They said it was because of the thunderstorms, which did happen, but it still points to unreliable power and running water. Maybe it was a one-time incident, but it left a bad first impression.

The washroom was dirty, there was no hot water, and the flush didn't work properly. The corridor is extremely narrow too. I don't think this guest house is worth ₹1000+.

The attached washroom had two windows that made me feel unsafe the whole time. People walk around outside and can hear your voice, and mosquitoes can get in through those windows. The AC wasn't working either.

A quiet, pleasant stay for a fairly affordable price. The staff were helpful too.

The staff are really good with people, but they need to improve the cleaning and maintain Higuain.
