Hotel Basera

It’s near Ranchi station, and the room was clean and spacious. Fine for a night’s stay, with courteous staff.

We were promised a first-floor room, but on arrival they gave us one on the ground floor. It wasn’t clean enough, there were lots of mosquitoes, and the washroom ceiling was open, which raised a serious privacy concern. The food tasted awful and cost far too much. They also told us the railway station was only a couple of minutes away, but it took almost 10 minutes to get there. Worst experience.

The rooms were poor and cheap, the beds were bad, and the area behind the washroom was open. Flies and mosquitoes were in the room. We were misled: what they said on the phone was completely denied when we arrived. The food was overpriced and tasteless too. Worst experience, worst hotel. Never visit.

I’m grateful to everyone who looked after us during our stay. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were polite, responsive, and wonderful in their service. Housekeeping and room service were especially attentive, and the room service was very good. Our rooms were clean, hygienic, and well equipped. The restaurant had tasty food with different varieties, and breakfast was very good. We had an excellent stay.
