Hotel Sita Kunj

The room boy was good, and the hotel is in the city center near the bus stand, though a little far from the railway station. The building seems old. Water leaked from the ceiling in the living area, and a little also came in through the window onto the bed. The mattress and floor were damp, and there was no hot water for bathing.

I booked 20 rooms, nearly all of them, for our guests, and the booking itself went smoothly. But one room had a dirty bedsheet, and I felt overcharged: they insisted on 1,400 rupees per room for queen beds, while online offers for those same rooms were 900-1,100. I know online rates can be lower, but it still felt wrong to pay more when booking directly with the hotel. I should have checked before paying an advance.

A double room costs 500 rupees, so it's affordable for ordinary people like me. They also serve food for an extra charge, and it's good. The only thing I didn't like much was the toilet cleanliness.

The second-floor rooms are cleaner and better. First-floor rooms smell and aren't good, and the bathroom is very bad. Food comes from nearby rajdhani hotel, so it costs a lot. I'd only book here if money is really tight.
