The water sometimes didn’t come from the tap, and when it did, it smelled like kerosene or diesel. Staff brought a tub of water from outside, but they weren’t supportive, and the price was higher than usual. Find a better option if you can.

The rooms were comfortable and had good air conditioning, and the washrooms were spacious and good, though they only had liquid soap. The property could be more comfortable if the owner wanted to make it so. As things stood, I had a very bad experience. We were overcharged for the rooms and got no receipt. There’s no food service, and tea or coffee cost Rs. 30/- for a 60 ml cup. They have a tie up with a restaurant upstairs, but its prices are very very high. There are no nearby hotels to go out for lunch or dinner, so fooding is a problem. The staff were arrogant and blunt. Check-in and checkout were also difficult. For checkout, they didn’t follow the rules listed in the OYO App. At 11 AM, the stated checkout time, one person will sit on your head to make you vacate.

At check-in, the guy was asleep, and it took 15 min before I got checked in. In the morning, checkout was the same problem, with nobody at reception. I forgot my earbuds in the room and told them after 15 min, but the lazy guy didn’t go to collect them. He told me to come myself. When I got there, he was in his room again. He then went to the room I’d been allocated, where the maid was cleaning, and she said there were no earbuds. Dear mmt team, we trust you, not the hotel. If you’re a family couple, please don’t visit this site. One of the pathenctic one.

The rooms are quite good, and the hotel is in a decent, posh area. But during the rainy season, the bathroom water looks maroon and has a rusty smell because the iron content is very high. It was hard to find the place since there’s no hotel name board. It’s tucked into a very narrow lane next to the TVS showroom.
