Hi Five Cottages

It’s peaceful and quiet, with lots of birds around and cute dogs that happily show you along the trails. The views are good, the rooms are okay, and the food is very good, made to order. The location is scenic and off the beaten path, but that also means it’s far from tourist spots. There were a few upkeep problems: no proper gated parking, so I had to leave the car on the road; some lights or fans didn’t work, the switches were odd, there wasn’t a cupboard or shelf for clothes and bags, and a clothes hook was broken. Still, I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone wanting to tune out of routine life for a few days.

The place is well kept and hygienic, and the food is delicious with quick service. We were treated with a lot of warmth by everyone, including the owner, and the hospitality was lovely. The view is amazing too. A must-visit for anyone seeking peace and a nice weekend getaway. I’ll visit again.

Hi Five sits among thick pine foliage, facing beautiful Himalayan views, in peaceful, quiet surroundings. The spacious rooms have elegant interiors and are beautifully made. A lovely place.

Best place for nature lovers, in a word. The premises have an awesome view, the rooms are spacious with essential amenities, and the food is delicious. My one complaint is that the food prices felt too expensive, and I’m bringing that to the owner’s attention. Mrs. Gitanjali Bharadwaj is a gem of the property. Her hospitality made it feel like home, and she gave special care to my 3 year old son. We’ll meet again on my next visit to Uttarakhand.
