OYO 30598 Hotel Rudra Palace

We had a bus to catch within an hour, and it was really cold outside. I'd just come from the hospital and needed a room for that hour, but the receptionist clearly refused and said they didn't have a night stay facility, which wasn't true. The staff were extremely rude and pathetic. With no other hotel nearby, we had to wait outside in the cold. It's sad to see so little humanity.

Don't rely on the OYO price shown, which was 500 to 800. The owner refused our booking and demanded offline payment instead, 1000 for a non-AC room or 1500 for AC, for one person. There aren't other hotels nearby or transport service, so it felt like a total scam.

Fine for a cheap one-night stay, but the rooms are small and have no ventilation. They could also get the AC repaired as soon as possible.

We'd had a good experience on our first visit, so we booked every room in advance and paid. Then an unexpected issue meant we had to cancel. They had promised that if we gave a month's notice, they'd keep 10% and return the rest, but they didn't honor that. They refused to refund anything, not even a single penny. After this, I wouldn't recommend making an advance booking here.
