The hotel felt safe and the staff were generous and polite. I was coming to Roorkee for work, but my train was late and I reached the railway station around 9 pm. Since I was alone and it was late, I called Mr Himanshu to arrange a taxi rather than travel with a stranger. He kept coordinating with drivers and updating me, but festival traffic meant no taxi was available. By 9:30 I was worried, standing alone by the roadside. Then Mr Karan, the HR Manager, called for my location and said he would come himself. He arrived in 20 minutes, and I felt safe and relieved. I later learned he had already finished his shift and was resting. I really appreciate Mr Karan stepping in during that difficult situation, and thank him and his team. They showed me they are good people as well as Hometel hotel staff. I'll stay here whenever I'm in Roorkee.

This is a good choice for business or official trips, with nice double and twin rooms at okay prices. It's one of the better hotels in Roorkee, though it's away from IIT, so Haridwar Road may be a better location. The food was delicious, but service was disappointing and slow at every step, from the room tour to getting a room. Even after I called three times, they forgot to bring water. A good hotel, but my experience was average.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff at every level were polite and helpful. The food stood out most for me, both its quality and taste were excellent. The surrounding area, though, would get 0/10 from me. The hotel deserves a solid 9/10.

Some of the tastiest food I've had lately! Every dish seemed carefully made with fresh ingredients, and the dal makhani was especially memorable. Definitely worth trying. Thanks for the great service, and thanks himansu for taking such good care of us.

The breakfast was average, and cleanliness and room quality didn't justify the high price. I paid 3600 for my room, while similar hotels can be found for under 3000. There also weren't proper arrangements for a driver to stay.
