The Sky Imperial Jungle Camp Resort

The rough road and distance from Kumbhalgarh are the drawbacks, since The Sky Imperial Jungle Camp Resort sits deep in the forest. We visited in January, and the team arranged a campfire and heaters without us needing to ask, which kept us comfortable. The staff paid attention to even small details, and service was excellent. It’s quiet among the trees, with birdsong in the morning. If you want a calm, nature-filled place, this is a great choice. We had a very pleasant stay and recommend it to nature lovers.

The food and hospitality were awful. They called it Rajasthani food, but nothing served felt authentic. It was the first time I’d had a restaurant lunch or dinner without even dal and plain rice. It took two hours to check in, and customer care was very poor when we tried to get an issue resolved. The manager, samar singh, was useless and awful to speak with, with no sense of how to talk to people and a lot of fake attitude. -100 for the service. Once you get there, you feel close to nature and can enjoy the amazing mountain views, along with really good food. The drive is the hard part: the road is very bad, and you have to keep going deeper to reach the place. Service is good, and the food quality is so good that even though it’s pricey, it feels worth the cost.

I booked luxury cottages 106 and 107 for two nights, but there were lots of mice and lizards, plus mouse droppings on the bed. I’d already paid the room charge, yet I had to sleep in the car all night because of this. No hotel staff were available to sort it out. There was no WiFi, network, or intercom. Agoda’s website clearly said WiFi was available at the property, but the hotel said Agoda had listed it. The manager offered no compensation or satisfactory answer, only excuses. Agoda customer service was no better, and nobody was available to talk. The hotel told us to contact Agoda, while Agoda told us to contact the hotel. Never book this property or use Agoda again.
