Aramness Gir National Park

We marked our second baby’s first birthday at Aramness, and the team made it feel dreamy, even better than we expected. We were there with a newborn, a toddler, and an elderly family member, and everyone looked after us with so much care and attention. A huge shoutout to Aramness founder Mr Jimmy Patel and his team, especially Mr Hitesh, who treated us like family. It was a memorable trip, and I’d recommend this place to anyone after a peaceful, complete getaway. Much love and thanks to the whole team!

We came away with mixed feelings. The service was friendly, the staff were great, and the property itself is beautiful, but several things made the stay difficult for us. The food choices were very limited, and to me everything tasted much the same regardless of cuisine. Breakfast service could be frustrating too. I might be halfway through eating before my juice arrived, and my toast would go cold while I waited for eggs. Some details in the room were awkward. The bed’s unusual base made it hard for my wife and me to get out of, and the curtain rings were so tight on the rod that we couldn’t draw the curtains. There were steps everywhere. I tried the circular staircase to the first floor once, but with no handrail I didn’t want to climb down it again. The bathroom and changing areas had no door, so we had to be careful whenever our grandchildren were around. Since the trip was a gift, I can’t easily say whether it was worth the price. I’d hesitate to spend that much myself, though maybe Aramness isn’t meant for people like me.

Our butler Shiv suman looked after us so well, and chef vikas, Maharaj, and the food and beverage manager kept checking in with a smile throughout our stay and meals. The hospitality was lovely. The thali was a treat, with each dish tasting even better than the last. Service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I’d recommend trying the signature dishes. Thanks again for taking such good care of us.

The food is so good, and the place feels close to real nature. It’s the best. Go once and see for yourself.
