We booked the whole place for 22 guests plus kids and had to argue just to get 22 blankets. They didn’t even provide drinking water in every room, and management seemed not to care about guests. The rooms felt shady, like a typical couple-friendly lodge where privacy is the only thing you can count on. Food takes forever, even when ordered from the hotel next door. The pool is tiny and rarely cleaned. At checkout, the next group was given rooms with unchanged bedsheets and no cleaning. The caretaker was drunk and delirious, gets overwhelmed by large groups, and is usually unavailable. The property owner seems politically involved and to have forgotten about this place. Some of his goons did step in during the blanket problem, but then warned us how much worse things could have gotten. The layout shows no consideration for sun or shade. The rooms get plenty of sun in the morning, enough for a severe sunburn, while most of the open area has no shade. That makes it hard to sit outside for a morning snack. The photos are digitally enhanced and create an illusion of a pleasant place. The reality looks nothing like them. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family under any circumstances.
