SaffronStays Blue Infinitum, Pawna

The view of Tung fort made this a lovely spot for our team’s season celebration. We regularly go sunset paragliding there, and the setting was a treat for everyone. The bungalow felt welcoming right away, with tasteful interiors that balance comfort and elegance, plus a peaceful outdoor area for relaxed conversation. We shared delicious food, had a great time together, and went home with wonderful memories. Thanks to Prafull, Monika, Manav, and Anjana maushi for being so courteous and lovely, and three cheers for Chef Bishan.

The view was absolutely awesome, and the welcoming, well-kept surroundings made Blue Infinitum Lakeview a peaceful place to relax. Service was excellent, handled with care and professionalism. Caretaker Prafull, Monika, Chef Varun, and Anjana Mavshi were friendly, attentive, and dedicated, and their support made our stay more comfortable and memorable. I’d highly recommend it for a calm, well-managed stay and hope to visit again.

The whole experience was very bad. The photos on the website are misleading and don’t show what the property is really like. We were told there would be an EV charger, but none was provided, and there was no Wi-Fi for work or entertainment. The kitchen was a mess and hygiene seemed lacking throughout. Crockery was chipped, the outdoor furniture had no cushions, and the place smelled damp. There were damp stains in the right-side room on the main floor, too. The floor and the area under the sofas were dusty. The bedsheets in the lower front room had red stains, and Pappu got upset when we asked him to change them. Pillow covers were torn and stained, and the linens were torn. We also saw a brown snake about 5 ft long in the backyard. The caretaker said they had killed one the day before we arrived and that this kind of problem happens often. They didn’t serve us while we were having lunch. We were also told to finish our meal quickly so our driver and helper could eat at the same dining table, with no arrangements made for helpers or drivers who came with guests. The oil used to fry the pakodas for high tea irritated our throats somehow. The food wasn’t very tasty, and even after we asked the chef to improve it, he lost interest because he was too scared of the snake. The high tea snacks weren’t any tastier than the lunch.

A few minor issues aside, we had a delightful stay. The location is excellent and the food was very tasty. Prafull, Monika, Chef Varun, Trilok, and Anjana mavshi were polite and gave good service. The property could use some maintenance and upgrades.
