SaffronStays Sattva - Pet and Eco-Friendly Villa in Mumbais Outskirts

The food was the highlight for us. It was delicious, and the kids enjoyed it too. Mr Shib and the team took extra care to understand what we expected, and the team looked after all the little things from the moment we arrived. We got a great feeling from the property as soon as we walked in. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

The caretakers served delicious food that had a real home-cooked feel, and they were so caring. The place was clean and comfortable, with a lovely setting surrounded by nature. Winter seems like the best time to visit. We had a great stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The approach road is still a work in progress, but we'd love to return to Sattva. It really did feel like home. The property is thoughtfully built and beautifully decorated, and the owner deserves credit for that. Alam, the property manager, is upbeat and always willing to help with even small things. Gaurav kept everything neat and tidy throughout our stay, and Vijay, the cook from Odisha, made wonderful mutton rasa, sambhar, chicken curry, and Dalma.

Shiva and Gaurav served some amazing meals, and the room, location, and service were excellent. We came hoping to escape city noise and construction in Mumbai, but for all three nights we heard JCB digging and workers right outside our rooms because work was happening on the property. They ideally should not have taken bookings while such loud work was going on. The construction area also wasn’t fully blocked off, and on our last day our dog fell into a large pit. Thankfully she wasn’t injured and we managed to get her out. The staff helped very quickly, which we appreciated, but the noise and the accident took away from the stay.
