The peaceful setting and greenery made it easy to unwind, and the views were lovely. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and spotless. At Gir Vanvaso Resort, the staff were friendly and professional, always quick to help with a smile. We also enjoyed the flavorful food and the good range of dishes. It felt like good value, and we’d love to come back.

We had different celebrations each night, with dance, Daayaro, Garba, and more. Pankajbhai and the team were top notch, and the food was really good, with a typical regional taste. Book ahead. If you’re in Gir, have your “VanVaso” here. I recommend it.

The breakfast buffet had a great spread of fresh, local ingredients, and the WiFi handled a few work calls without trouble. The landscaped grounds were beautiful, so even the walk to the room felt lovely. Staff were warm, efficient, and professional, and the dining areas and facilities were well maintained and relaxing. There’s a good variety of quality amenities. I can’t wait to return.

We spent three nights here with our families and had no issues. They adjusted our dates at very short notice, and owner Badal was approachable and welcoming. The property is well maintained and works for family stays or events such as weddings. It has a proper Gir jungle feel near the Hiran river, with a village just a minute away and a good main road connection. The staff were welcoming, the service was good, and the food was nice.
