We only had lunch and didn’t stay overnight. It’s a good hotel at Hatgad, on the way from Saputara to Maharashtra.

The lake-view rooms have a nice design, with a porch or balcony to sit on, and the bathrooms are clean and well equipped. Service was very good, the food was spot on despite the limited choices, and the hotel is in a fabulous location. But with prices on the high side, a few things need work: add an electric kettle and some tea or coffee pouches, bring down the price of certain dishes, and do something about unlimited breakfast. A two bread cheese sandwich for 210₹ is just too much. And please change those railway colored beddings.

We spent two days here and had a wonderful stay. The room service was excellent, and the staff were polite and helpful. Everything was well managed and reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Hotel Anando made our first trip to Saputara so enjoyable that we’re already planning to return. The peaceful lake views and ample parking made things easy, and the rooms felt spacious, clean, and like a home away from home. The food was delicious and served fresh. Staff were humble, polite, and quick to help with requests or even small needs, which added a lot of comfort to our trip. Full 5-star rating, the best place to stay in Saputara!
