Rishipattan Vihar Paying Guest House

Being on the outskirts of the center of Sarnath makes this a quiet place to stay. The owner and staff were warm, chatted with us about our differences, and the staff cooked a simple but great Indian dinner, including their own chapatis, which we ate together. For this price, the homestay/hotel/hostel had all the basics: cleanliness, hot water, a comfortable bed, chai tea, filtered water, safety, kindness, helpfulness, and care. A cheap and good place if you’ll be out roaming most of the day and mainly need a base to spend the night. It makes sense if you don't want to pay much for somewhere you won't use much. It’s within walking distance of Sarnath's main attractions, so a good fit for Buddhist tourists. The quality is good, and the reasonable rate makes it worthwhile.

The room is very clean, the services are excellent, and it’s good value for your money. Since the location is set back from the road, it’s quiet and peaceful, with all the must-visit places extremely close by. I’d recommend this guest room.
