The room had a good amount of space, and the window seat was a nice bonus. Breakfast offered a decent selection, including some Jain options, and there are plenty of shops nearby if you want to go out. The staff were very approachable. Mr. Akbar and Shwet were especially helpful and always smiling. The location was a major plus for us: it’s about 100m from the Sasan Gir safari point, and the hotel is 100% pure veg. Those two things mattered most to us.

The safari gate, Sinh Sadan, is about 200m away, which makes it a handy starting point for a Gir safari and a main attraction in the area. Breakfast service was very slow, with very few items, and prices felt a bit high. The front desk told us the menu was limited because there were fewer guest bookings that day and a staff shortage. There are also lots of eating places just outside and nearby, and despite the breakfast issues we had a good stay.

The bathroom had water pooling around both the basin and shower, and there was no tissue. We also had to ask for dental and shaving kits, which hadn’t been provided. We booked a super deluxe room with an extra sofa for another person, but the room was small and the sofa was uncomfortable to sleep on. The biggest issue was dinner. They insisted that we take the buffet and wouldn’t offer anything à la carte, even though we had three elderly people with us. We asked if they could make simple roti and sabji for them, but that was refused.
