Moustache Ranthambore Luxuria

We spent three days here in a peaceful setting, close to the national park entrance, about a five-minute drive away. The hotel has lovely natural surroundings and was a very enjoyable place to stay with family. Mr. Kunal and his colleagues, including Mr. Javed, welcomed us warmly and did their best to keep us comfortable. The rooms were cozy, and the delicious food prepared by Mr. Shivraj was a delight.

The staff were friendly and eager to make our trip memorable, taking care of what we needed. Kunal and Shivraj deserve a special mention for looking after our stay. Moustache Ranthambore Luxuria is conveniently located near safari zones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. There’s a swimming pool, a tree house, and a small pond. Our room was very clean, the toiletries were good quality, and the food was excellent. We had one concern: the chef had added water to the milk for our child. We would not have known if our child hadn’t pointed it out. We reported it to the staff, who took appropriate action.

The meals were a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the food was some of the best we’d had on our trip. Nearby alternatives are quite far away, so having meals here worked out well. After the safari, we had high tea up in the trees with birds all around us. The rooms were lovely, though we never quite figured out the hot water. Staff were so helpful: Javed even took us on his motorbike and made sure we got into the right vehicle for our safaris. They also sorted out our onward transfer. We had a great stay and would happily come back.

The main problem was the service around meals. There was no one available to bring us drinking water, and at dinner we had to put away our own used plates and utensils. The manager said staff finished at 9:30 PM and would all leave after that. Even when we ordered food, the manager kept explaining the bowl size and quantity, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Pool access was limited to 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, while nearby hotels let guests use their pools in the evening. My stay at Moustache Ranthambore Luxuria was very disappointing, and the service fell short of even basic standards.
