Leonia Holistic Destination

This was my fourth visit to LEONIE DESTINATION, and the food was the worst part. We spent 2064/- per head, 22700/- in total, and were very disappointed with the main item. The dining hall was good, but there was no cool water, and the ice-cream and desserts were poor quality. The food we ate had lost the South Indian vibe and taste. The biryani was especially bad, despite being called Hyderabadi Biryani.

The staff weren't helpful or informative, and their attitude was disappointing. We arrived for the evening snacks at 6:10 PM, though we had been told they ran until 6:30 PM, and were told they were already over. We were also told everything was included when paying, but inside, all indoor and outdoor activities had extra charges. Only the pool was included, which felt misleading. My father has had backbone surgery, but our request for an internal tuk-tuk ride was refused because it was apparently only for stay guests. That felt insensitive. For my birthday, despite asking for decor, we were directed to a garden full of mosquitoes with just one table. The buffet was below average, swimwear couldn't be refunded, and the whole approach felt money-minded. Around ₹10k for a family day outing was very poor value and didn't justify the cost. Poor service, and I wouldn't recommend it for day outings.

I went on a weekday day outing and had a good time. The ticket was around 1750 per person. It included a welcome drink, buffet lunch with one chicken starter, chicken biryani, fish curry, and a good variety of veg dishes, plus pool activities. There were indoor games like chess, carrooms, snooker, air hockey, and foose ball, as well as outdoor options including net cricket, volley ball, Badminton, Basket Ball, outdoor chess, ludo, and snake and ladder. Everything was very good. There's ample parking. You do have to walk some distance between the activities and food locations, and the staff didn't know enough about what food was being served since it was spread across multiple places. I only saw pool activities for kids, and it'd be better if they had a kids area with things like swings and a see-saw.

The staff were rude and the hospitality was disappointing when I went to Leonia for swimming during the rain event. I was wearing a nylon dress suitable for swimming, but they argued that it wasn't allowed. They'd promised a welcome drink, but it tasted really bad. They also said the DJ would play until 5 PM, then stopped it before that time. The songs weren't good or suited to a fun rainy-day atmosphere either. It wasn't worth it with the poor treatment and promises not kept.
