Puthooram Ayurvedic Beach Resort

We’ve stayed here four times, and Rani and Byju’s hospitality keeps making us feel at home. They’re more like family than hosts now. All the staff were warm, courteous, and ready to help, and the whole place had a calm, relaxing feel. The clean, spacious, well-kept rooms and easy beach access made for a lovely stay. It’s an ocean-side resort in Varkala, with a vegan café called Lumama right next door for delicious food. We loved watching the sunsets over the Arabian Sea. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind and reconnect with nature, and we can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful family stay at this well-kept, beach-facing resort. The place felt calm and relaxing, with a peaceful, scenic setting just a short walk from the cliff and beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were polite, warm, and always willing to help, which made the visit even more pleasant.

The terrace had such a pretty, peaceful view, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. This beautiful property is in a prime spot on the north cliff, with most places within walking distance. The photos probably don’t show it at its best. I recently stayed and loved the experience. I’d happily come back.

We arrived at night, but check-in was easy and smooth. The room was clean, bright, welcoming, and had everything we needed. It was a lovely place to stay, quiet at night and well placed for exploring the area. The resort looks out over the beautiful Varkala Cliffs, and the sunset views were a joy to see. I’d love to return.
