There was barely any water pressure, and the room cleanliness was at an awful level. The sheets and towels were extremely poor. I waited from 7 to 9 and somehow managed the basic routine. Even project-site labour colonies are maintained much better. This isn't a hotel, just a third-class lodge.
The most serious issue was privacy. Staff somehow get the MakeMyTrip (MMT) OTP by telling guests it's mandatory for check-in, then use it to post reviews themselves. That's a serious breach of trust. It was already difficult to contact the hotel because the listed phone numbers didn't work. The bed linen was dirty and poorly kept, the washrooms had no water, and the ceiling fans were filthy and unhygienic.
We checked in and left immediately at 2:30 am, then kept chasing them about the refund they said they would process. They haven't been responsive, and the staff behaved terribly. The place was completely different from the online photos and wasn't cleaned. There were spiders, and the bathroom was worse than a public toilet. It felt dangerous to stay there with kids. The worst hotel I've ever seen.
For the price, the rooms are very poor, and the staff's behavior and response were unsatisfactory. Don't expect proper facilities if you stay here. I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel.
Our two-night stay at Fortune Hotel was a big disappointment. The food was just as poor as the service. Breakfast was chaotic, with no plates or cups and hardly anything hot or properly cooked. They brought out only one or two dishes at a time, so we waited endlessly. At ₹3700 per night, that's unacceptable. We weren't given basic things like towels or a toiletry kit. Even after asking several times, we never got a TV remote. Water pressure in the washroom was terrible too, and turning on one tap made the flow from the other drop. We expected a decent stay, but Fortune Hotel failed us on every front. The hotel's name felt like a joke for us, it was all misfortune.
