OYO 40124 Hotel VJR Residency

We had to move through three rooms because the washrooms weren’t clean and the rooms smelled rotten. Water, toothpaste, and shampoo were charged separately. The reception smelled like a meat shop all the time because there’s a frozen meat outlet behind it. The lift wasn’t working at ground level, so we had to carry our luggage on the stairs when arriving and leaving. There were three power cuts, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and reception didn’t answer calls on the intercom.

Some rooms are kept neat, but others aren’t maintained properly. Please keep all the rooms clean and in good condition. Bottled water isn’t provided, and they ask customers to pay for it. Other hotels give two or four bottles per room, and here you have to ask for everything. It seems most guests are only staying because they need to go to the airport.

Good value for the price, with big, clean rooms and decent service. It’s a pocket-friendly choice for a business trip near Hyderabad airport, about 15 mins away.

The cab they provide costs less than Ola and Uber Cabs. It’s handy for people arriving at night and catching a morning flight from shamshabad international airport. The hotel and service are really nice, the best I’ve seen, though it is a bit expensive. I think it’s worth the money.
