Kuttalam Heritage

When we visited in the off-season it was quiet, and the staff were courteous. The restaurant team was good and served hygienic food. Most other things were fine, but the room's A/C felt well below one ton and barely put out air. Room 506 had no hot water. The complimentary water for the whole day was just half a liter, which wasn't enough.

There was plenty of spacious outdoor area to spend time in, and the stay itself was comfortable. It's a nice location for a vacation, but the lack of in-room amenities was a concern. We didn't get the hot kettle, which we were told was unavailable due to a shortage.

A very bad place to stay. They charge resort prices but treated us worse than lodges. Breakfast was the worst part, with undercooked food. Management was terrible too. They claimed they had provided five towels, though there were only four, then charged us for towels. I hope people read the other comments and skip this place.

The daytime and nighttime ambience was the only part we found pleasant. We paid ₹4200 for one night in a villa-style place with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a hall, for 4 adults, 2 children including an 11-month-old, and 2 people over 70. The price felt far too high for the condition and service. The villa was very old, dirty and poorly maintained, and the AC barely worked, which made things uncomfortable for the elderly people and children. We looked at the pool area and found intoxicated guests there, which felt unpleasant and unsafe for families. The staff kept pointing to complimentary breakfast when we asked about amenities, but the food quality was very poor. Evening tea and coffee were terrible as well. There was no spa service, despite it being advertised or expected. I wouldn't recommend it for families. It might suit groups of friends.
