The hotel is small, and the rooms are even smaller and not in good condition. They wouldn’t let us in before 7:30 AM, even though we had booked, directly or through an agency. My family and I were left waiting outside on the road with our two-year-old, and the staff wouldn’t open the gate.
The stay was really disappointing. The premises and rooms feel cramped, and the geyser didn’t work properly. Breakfast wasn’t proper either, though the bread and butter were okay. The restaurant is on the fourth floor with no lift, and there wasn’t a proper attendant there.
We stayed for two days with our family and our 1.5-year-old daughter. The rooms weren’t clean and smelled awful, and the staff didn’t seem to care about what we needed. When we asked for milk or fruit for our daughter, they simply said no, without giving a reason. Food choices were very limited. They allowed just one boiled egg per person, and the menu had other restrictions too. It made dining feel more like a punishment than a meal. I wouldn’t say binalari pine inn is a good choice for families.
We were a group of 22 and had a great time. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and everything was clean. The people were really sweet. Breakfast could be better, with more on the menu.
The restaurant next door had very few choices, and it took more than two hours just to make egg curry and rotis. The employees need better skills and a lesson in hospitality. Our room was tiny and had such a bad smell that even air freshener didn’t make it bearable. Pathetic stay. I’d never recommend Banalari Pine Inn.
