Dawa Thinley, the owner, was friendly and accommodating, and the staff were attentive. Our room was spacious, clean, and well cared for. The in-house food was fantastic, and the location was convenient. Hotel Dawa gave us a comfortable, homely stay in Tawang. We had a wonderful time and would recommend Hotel Dawa 😊👍

We were there for two nights. Being in the old market was handy for getting to restaurants, and the higher-floor rooms face the road. Mr. Anup can help with local transport and shared sumo service to Dirang/Bomdila. They served tea and coffee while we were there because the cook wasn't available. A room heater can be rented, and although there's no kettle in the room, they can provide hot drinking water from the kitchen. The room and toilet cleanliness need attention. The toilet's jet spray wasn't working.

Power was out for much of our stay, and the hotel relied on a generator, so charging a laptop was difficult. It was also too cold without a heater, which the hotel didn't have. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the toilets were relatively clean, though there were no hand faucets and the taps leaked.
