Crossroad

The room was good and well maintained, and there was nice parking space. A helpful lady takes care of the property. It’s convenient for catching a taxi too, since the stand is right in front of St John's Church. A wonderful place to stay in Laban.

Shanti is a gem, soft-spoken and happy to answer questions about Meghalaya, its people and culture. The owner and staff were polite and well behaved, and the hospitality was amazing. My room and toilet were very clean, and breakfast was great. Since it was so cold, they even brought me an extra warm blanket without me asking. I had a very comfortable stay at Crossroad.

The warm, kind and helpful hospitality from Shanti and the staff made me feel right at home at Crossroads Guesthouse. It’s in a calm neighbourhood, so it was easy to relax after exploring the city. Breakfast was filling and included local dishes. My room was spotless and had what I needed, including a TV, geyser and water cooker. For the price, this guesthouse offers amazing value. I had a great stay in Shillong and highly recommend it.

Madam Shanti was a wonderful, courteous host, and her hospitality was excellent. I wish her and her family all the best. The four of us stayed for three nights. When we asked, they arranged dinner and brought breakfast early because our schedule had changed. She also set up good car transport for us at our request. We were able to speak with her and arrange things before we arrived.
