The only issue I noticed was the narrow road leading to the property. Inside, Tachi, Abdul, and Lasan Sangma made the stay pleasant. Tachi saw to our requests and made us feel comfortable, and our rooms were upgraded as requested. Lasan served delicious food with care. Since we had an early start, Tachi and Abdul arranged to have breakfast packed and handed it over on time. Everyone's hospitality was much appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend this stay. We had booked through Imity Travels guwahati, who promised a super deluxe room and showed us a photo, but the location was disappointing. It's in a residential area on a steep hill, with a narrow entrance where only one vehicle can pass at a time. Our room, number 177, was spacious and had clean linens, but the only opening window looked onto a neighbor's terrace with clothes drying, nothing like the view in the photo. There was no insect gauze on the windows. The five rooms next to one another on the floor meant we could hear each other's voices, and we couldn't sleep all night. Breakfast was poor: only parathas fried in refined oil with sabji were somewhat palatable. The poha was cold, margarine was served instead of butter, and there was no jam. They refused our request for a paratha without oil. Getting around was awkward too, since the lift only goes to the third floor and we had to climb two stories. The restaurant view was the one acceptable part of breakfast. I'm usually not a big critic and try to adjust, but this stay spoiled my trip. The only thing we had from the hotel besides breakfast was tea, and it was awful. We were meant to check into the same hotel again after going to cherapunji, but won't be doing that. We reported the problems to our travel agency and asked for a replacement.

The whole hotel was clean, cozy, and quiet, with an amazing view of the hills. We had a lot of fun there for my cousin's bachelorette. The ambiance was wow, and the food was yummy, which we hadn't expected. The service stood out too, the guy serving us throughout the event was available with one call. I'd give the hotel 100/100. It was worth it and amazing.

A good hotel in shillong, with clean, hygienic rooms and modern amenities at an affordable price. Definitely recommend it in shillong.
