Hotel Heritage

The facilities are outdated, and things like the flush and AC weren't working. There was no food or breakfast, yet the price was high. I'd book this only as a last option.

All four of us in my family stayed at Heritage Hotel, Shillong, Meghalaya, India from November 08,2023 to November 11,2023. The friendly, well-mannered staff were always ready to help, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. Beds were neat, milky white, and had no bad smell. The toilets were A-one, with working hot water. Friends, you can enjoy the warm hospitality of Hotel Heritage, Shillong.

We paid 4000 for one night, but the room quality was trash. The washroom was poor, there was no geyser or fan regulator, and fungus covered the walls. There are much cleaner and fancier hotels nearby for the same price. We booked three nights, but even spending one night here is difficult, so we're moving to the hotel next door, which is much better. They're not refunding us, so we're losing money. A big no to this hotel. Never book here.

We paid 4000 for one night in a room with one double bed and one single bed. That feels a bit high, though being right in the centre of shillong makes it seem reasonable. The room was spacious, and so was the bathroom, and they accepted online payment when we said we didn't have cash. There's no in-house restaurant, but they can arrange food from outside. We chose to get our own. The room itself was cleaned properly, but basic toiletries were missing, there was no complimentary breakfast, the mattress was pretty bad, and the blankets seemed overused. If you can afford it, it's one of the good options in Police Bazaar.
