The owner cursed and abused us when we asked for blankets. We had been waiting since midnight, and at 12:30 he finally came out shouting. We'd called him over and over, but he kept declining our calls. The room felt more like a godown than a hotel room, as if it hadn't been opened in months. Dirty water came from the taps, and the toilet flush didn't work. A horrible experience, avoid this hotel.

The room smelled like hell and was filthy and awful. There was a problem with the hot water, and the bathroom flush didn't work.

The receptionist, "Rahul," behaved horribly, making an already uncomfortable and annoying stay even worse. The room windows were broken, and the blanket was so small that even one person could barely fit under it. This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever visited.

For what you pay, you can get a better hotel nearby at the same price. The room was small, there was no view, and room service and food facilities were poor. Nothing was conveniently nearby, and no hot water was provided in the room. It was a bad experience and not worth the money.

Mr Bapan Das, the manager, was especially rude and didn't know how to treat guests. The rooms were awful, the bathroom was very bad, and the staff's behavior was rude. There are lots of good budget hotels and homestays in Shillong for the same rate, so don't waste your money, time, or holiday here. If you think this hotel is worth it, you're wrong. Worst experience ever, don't book.
