La Nicholas Lake View by Summit Hotels

The views of Umiam Lake at sunset and Sunrise are mesmerizing, and the rooms are extremely neat and clean. Staff were welcoming and polite, and the service was top notch. Food may not be the resort’s strongest point, but everything else felt worth every penny. For easier room selection and pricing, I recommend booking through the official Summit Group website. Views - 10/10, rooms - 10/10, campus - 10/10, food - 7/10.

The resort had a wonderful atmosphere, and the trip there was really fun. Food was decent and the rooms were comfortable. Seems like a great spot for a visit with friends or as a couple.

You could stay here for 2 or 3 days to relax. The staff manner and food quality were average. The open sewage left us uncomfortable and there was a bad gas smell from it. The swimming pool was unmaintained, and the garden grass needed trimming. Oky for leisure and relaxing.

The food was unacceptable. We ordered pizza, naan, chicken, American chopsuey and Chinese. The pizza had no proper base and was nothing like pizza, we should have ordered roti. Most of the chicken was bones, and the naan was like papad. The American chopsuey was uneatable. The ambience is deceptive, and the manager didn’t apologize. I can’t fathom why the rating is so high. Skip this place if you don’t want to ruin your day, we ruined our Christmas :)
