Hotel Poinisuk

We had lunch here this past Monday and ordered rotis with two curries. The food was a 2.5 at best, with lots of curry and hardly any meat, sadly pretty standard these days. What really shocked me was seeing our attendant use the toilet at the same time as me and then leave without washing his hands. That says enough.

The rooms were cold, with poor ventilation and no sunlight in most of them. I suffered health effects from staying there, so the room was torture even though the food was OK. The hotel is badly laid out, and the manager is arrogant and uncooperative. Better avoid this bad hotel.

The biggest thing about Poinisuk was the staff. They were very polite, professional, and helpful. We especially want to thank ms.Kenny from the restaurant, who was an exceptional host and made our stay memorable. The hotel has basic amenities, plus a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar. It's a 3-star hotel in central Laitumkhra, close to the Cathedral of Mary, the local market within walking distance, and some good cafes and restaurants nearby.

It's right in the heart of Laitumkrah and has a good ambience, though space is a little limited. There's a bar where you can relax with a cold beer and listen to live music at night.
