Premium Unique Residency

The hotel is quite far from the main city, and there aren’t local vending places nearby. Still, I had a really great stay: the rooms were very good and the service was up to the mark.

There was no privacy at all. You could hear people in the next room, and they could hear you. The room lighting wasn’t adequate, and room service was awful. They say breakfast is included, but all they provided was bread and egg, so there’s nothing for vegetarians. This was a terrible stay, not suitable for families. I don’t know how they claim to be a 3-star hotel. It doesn’t even deserve one star. Fake hotel.

The location was peaceful enough to relax, while still giving easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well looked after, with the amenities I needed. I liked the cozy feel and the care housekeeping put into the details. Food was fresh and delicious, with a good range to choose from. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and check-in went smoothly. From start to finish, I felt comfortable at Hotel O Lapalang / Unique Residency. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s a great mix of comfort, cleanliness, and good service. I’ll definitely stay again on my next visit.

The place is far from Shillong market and felt like an unsold apartment converted into a hotel. Rooms connect to other rooms, so families or couples don’t get privacy. After 8 in the evening, staff refused to provide any service. They were drunk and busy drinking inside a locked room. Pathetic hotel and pathetic service.
