Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast

Parking is available, and the common areas as well as the rooms were kept clean. We found the walls a little thin and could hear people in nearby rooms, though it didn’t bother us. The bed was comfortable, and the washroom was clean. Rooms are spacious, with a lovely antique feel. The central location made it easy to explore Shillong. Breakfast was a simple, satisfying buffet: omelette, bread with butter and jam, puri sabji, tea, and coffee. Hospitality was excellent, with staff who were warm, polite, and welcoming. A lovely place with a charming vibe. I’d happily stay again.

We had a great stay at Cafe shillong for five days, and it was good value for money. The staff were very hospitable, breakfast was decent, and the location made it an easy walk into the city. Our room was good quality and had a balcony with a really nice city view.

I enjoyed breakfast each day in the open seating area, where the staff served every item to us. They were humble and always ready to help, and breakfast was tasty. We stayed four nights as a family in a Luxury Room. It was huge, with an extended seating area and two Televisions. The room also had a mini fridge, electric kettle, and a good quality heater. Police Bazar market is walkable, though the steep streets can make it a challenge. The car entrance ramp is very steep too, so inexperienced uphill drivers may have trouble. Still, it’s a good option in Shillong city.

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The room was spacious, and the location was good, a little away from the city hustle but still not too far. Staff were very courteous. The breakfast spread could be better for the price, though what we had was tasty.
