This seems like an old house converted into a BnB, with maybe three or four rooms. It’s a small, cozy property in a crowded residential area, reached by narrow lanes with very tight parking. There’s space inside for only two or three vehicles. The rooms feel a bit cramped but are manageable. They have WiFi, hot water around the clock, and Smart TVs with Netflix and Prime subscriptions. Breakfast is complimentary but the choices are limited, potato parrathas, bread, egg, and fruit. There’s no dedicated dining area, though you can sit outside at the table and chairs. There are a couple of friendly pet dogs on the property.

We stayed at Rococo this February, and the staff, especially Wanda o & Evening star, were really good. Their warm hospitality and helpful attitude made it one of the best places to stay in shillong. It’s in a residential area away from traffic, with a very small parking area for about three cars.

The location in the cantonment area helped us avoid some traffic while we explored Meghalaya over three nights this December. Our room was clean and spacious, and there’s on-site parking and breakfast. We stayed in the Queen room. It would be useful to have more storage or counter space in front of the TV, perhaps a console or drawers for putting things down. Aside from that, it was a good stay.

The staff were kind, and it was a cozy stay for two. You’ll need a vehicle to get there since it’s uphill, and the property can be hard to find at first. I’d recommend it.

The owner was pleasant to deal with, and the place itself feels cozy, clean, and well cared for. I didn't order anything, so I can't comment on the service. The atmosphere was great.
