Dirty room, and the bedsheets and pillows were in awful shape and seemed unhygienic. That made the stay deeply disappointing. Cleanliness needs serious improvement, because this spoiled the whole visit.

The rooms were in a terrible state, with old furniture and damaged wooden fittings. Just worn-out rooms all around.

Once the booking was done, the helpful staff stopped caring. The room on the top floor had barely any headroom, maybe 5 feet 10 inches. The food was just edible, nothing more. Also, they lock the building's main door at 10:30 pm, so you can't head out.

We spent two days there, with a dirty bedsheet and toilet and a damp feeling in the room. The lock on our door didn't work. After we reported it, they said they'd fix it, but they never did.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and the restaurant food was delicious. At Sita Palace, the staff welcomed me and handled check-in smoothly. My room was cozy and clean, with a lovely view. The hillside scenery was stunning, and Mall Road was easy to reach from the location. I had a fantastic, relaxing stay in Shimla and would highly recommend it.
