Hotel Kapil

The rooms were good, with clean bedding and a sanitized bathroom. A slipper for the washroom would have been useful. The LG TV isn't much use with only free dish airtel channel, so a smart TV would let guests connect. Also, one white light in the room would be good. Thanks.

Everything was good apart from the Reception Manager, who was very rude and slack about his duties. I stayed 9 nights and had parking trouble starting the second night. I got a 1000/- challan for parking wrongly where the manager had suggested, but they said they weren't responsible. On the last day he spoke rudely to me over this parking issue. If the hotel wants more guests from me, he needs to be changed. Otherwise, I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

The rooms smelled of damp walls. Wi-Fi was there, but I had to stand in the corridor to get a signal. Before I finalized the room, staff mentioned a shortcut down stairs to the main road. After I paid, I was told the door was locked and they didn't have the key. The water jar was already full, but looked like it had been sitting there for months. When I asked for a refill, they said they'd added water that morning. In a room that smelled damp and seemed unopened for months, I wondered what "morning" they meant. Food feels like a luxury too, with a plain roti costing ₹35. We were 3 guests, 2 female, and got one towel that was already wet, so apparently sharing was part of the bonding experience. For the price, this was less "Hotel Kapil" and more "How-did-I-end-up-here".

Breakfast and dinner were both tasty and hygienic, and the staff were very cooperative. The rooms were clean, very good, and had all the basic facilities. Mall road is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Our experience was very good.
