Expect a 300 mtr trek on foot to reach the hotel, carrying your luggage after the car drops you 400 mtr short. Mall road is 10 min away on foot. That uphill walk may be tough for elderly people, anyone with breathing problems, or very small children. The place is neat and clean, though the atmosphere is a bit damp. Rooms could be more spacious for the price. Still, if you’re used to walking on hilly roads and are physically able, I recommend this place near mall road for 2500/-, which is budget friendly.

The food from the hotel was finger-licking good, and the staff were really nice. We enjoyed our stay. It’s about 700 m from Mall Road, and the hotel sits a little uphill. There’s no hotel parking, so we paid 300 for the night to park by the road. They offered a coolie for 150/- since you have to climb around 70-100 stairs, but we were all guys with light luggage, so we walked up.

The staff seemed not to care about guests, and there wasn’t any breakfast service. Hotel Chaman Palace is tucked away in an interior spot that’s a hassle to reach and get around from. The so-called suite was just a basic, worn room, especially disappointing at the premium price. I won’t return or recommend it.

I liked both the room and the food during my stay at Hotel German Palace, Gandhinagar. I had a good experience there and would recommend the hotel to my friends and relatives. Keep up the good work.

The location is a little off the beaten path, but it wasn’t too far from Mall Road and worked well for us. We stayed two days and had a great time. The rooms felt cozy and were clean, and the bathroom was clean too, which is always something I worry about. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. A peaceful place with rooms that aren’t too expensive, I’d recommend it.
