The reception staff and hotel service were polite, helpful, and respectful. I stayed at Hotel Tara Regency, Shimla for 3 days, though the room didn't live up to the online photos: it was unclean and poorly maintained. The blanket was damaged, the washroom wasn't clean, and there were problems with the walls and lights. They cleaned the room later, but it still didn't look decent like it did online.

I regret booking Hotel Tara Regency. The room was dirty, in terrible condition, badly maintained, and clearly hadn't been checked before guests arrived. The place felt neglected and poorly managed, nowhere near what they show online. Basic facilities were missing or didn't work properly, making things frustrating from the moment I walked in. Customer service seemed nonexistent. The staff showed no interest in fixing problems, ignored requests, and were rude or slow to respond. For the price, the quality was shockingly bad. It felt like a complete waste of money, and the whole environment was uncomfortable and disappointing. There are far cleaner, better options in the same budget range. I'd advise people to stay anywhere else. Never again.

The receptionist was one of the rudest I've ever come across. The rooms were dusty, the toilet commode was broken, there were no dustbins, and the blanket was torn and dirty. Food options were limited to paratha, and he cheated by counting extra, then started a bad argument. The behaviour was pathetic.

At checkout, the staff yelled at us over an extra charge for food items we'd ordered. They'd insulted us in front of other customers too, and the staff were very, very rude. A very bad experience, and I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed. Please don't go. Pradeep - room 103

The location was difficult to find, and they didn't have a key, so we couldn't lock our room when we went out. The staff were very rude. Why run a hotel if you're uninterested in your guests?
