OYO 7670 Home Stay Rashik B&B

Please read this before booking. I found my stay at Hotel O by OYO – Rashik Homestay very disappointing and misleading. It looked nothing like the online photos, and there wasn't a proper view, just trees. The property sits about 500 meters downhill from the main road, which was very inconvenient, especially for families or older people. There are no nearby shops or taxis. Every time you need to get to the main road, you have to pay a taxi ₹400 just to go up or down, something they don't clearly tell you when booking. Service was poor too. Staff kept talking about advance payment and coming to the room repeatedly to pressure us to pay. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Don't book based only on the photos. Check the location and the actual property in person before confirming, or you could run into the same problems. Stay alert and avoid this trap.

The caretaker was really nice, and the rooms were clean. There isn't a kitchen at the property, just tea and breakfast if you ask. It's peaceful because it's away from the crowd, and Victory Tunnel is very close. Mall road and lower bazaar are a decent walk away. It's also near the railway station and within walking distance of Mall road, though it is downhill, so there's no view. You have to climb down and back up to get there, and doing that many times a day could be difficult, especially with family. It's not the best spot for families, but couples or groups of friends could choose it. If you only use the hotel to sleep and stay out until night, it can be a good choice.

A great place to stay with lovely views. It's right in the main city, with Mall road only 300 mts away. Akhil was very nice and helpful, and the homemade meal was excellent.

Don't even think about staying here. The location on Google doesn't match the actual one. It's about 600-800m away, deep among the trees, and impossible to find at night. They even shut the door if you arrive late.
