The staff served us very well, and we really enjoyed the tasty food. Our booking at Shyar Hotel was for our family trip to Shimla, from 23rd April 2026 to 26th April 2026. The hotel is right on the main road and looks very nice. Mr. Surender Shandil, the owner, was polite and cooperative, and all the staff were helpful and well behaved. Mr. Pankaj was especially helpful. Our package came with three breakfasts and three dinners. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained, and we had no problems during our stay. My husband Amit Kumar and I had a very good experience and enjoyed the trip.

I booked offline, and for the price this is a great place to stay. It's quite far from the famous Mall, but that could suit newcomers looking for somewhere quiet without crowds disturbing their peace. The caretaker is friendly and cooperative.

The place was peaceful and quiet, partly because it's about 10 km from Shimla and there's nothing within walking distance to do. Even so, I had a nice stay. The rooms were large, clean and lovely, with a beautiful view. The food was delicious and felt homemade, and the staff were polite and well mannered.
