Spangle Heights Suits & Residences

The views were magnificent. We were mesmerised, with clouds seeming to reach our rooms, and at times we even walked through the cloud. The rooms had character and were thoughtfully done. We had a comfortable, beautiful family stay at Spangle Height | Shimla during the children’s holiday last week, just before school started again after the summer break. The children and the rest of us enjoyed the hospitality, and the food was mind-blowing, with presentation they clearly know how to do. We’d all love to come back for more family time.

The property is decent, about 10 km outside Shimla, but there are some details guests should be told clearly. It’s in a society where the property has rented some flats. Pool and spa facilities have not started yet. Meal times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner should be posted in every room. Room service runs from 7.30 AM to 7.30 PM, so dinner has to be eaten in the restaurant. If you want it in your room, you have to go to the restaurant, get it packed, and carry the food, utensils, and cutlery back yourself.

Useless place. It’s apartment-style and 8 km from Shimla, with poor roads. No buffet breakfast or dinner, WiFi, liquor, kids’ facilities, activities, proper food, or snacks. Nothing beyond the apartment-type hotel. They charge 4-star rates. Choose a 1-star place instead and at least enjoy good food.

The rooms were very good, and the balcony had picturesque views. Sunset was awesome. I can’t say the same about sunrise since I was sleeping. It’s on the outskirts of Shimla, about 8 km out, but the location is good.
