Hotel Jewel Rock

The food was a highlight. At Kannauj family restaurant, the chicken lollipop and lemon chicken were the best, and the neer dosa with chicken pulimunchi is a must try. The ghee roast was good too. We also ate at the attached Atithi veg restaurant: crispy, delicious Gobi manchurian with flavoured sauces, plus rice, dal fry, onion pakoda and papad made a perfect lunch. Service was good at the restaurants. The hotel itself is one of the best places to stay in the city center, with good rooms and service, friendly staff, and easy access to the bus stand and railway station. It also has Milan party hall.

We had a pleasant stay at Jewel rock. The staff were friendly, and there were beautiful paintings on every floor. Rooms were spacious, clean and reasonably priced, with clean bathrooms. Hot water for bathing was available from 5 30 to 10 in the morning, and the 24 hour check-in and checkout policy was very convenient for tourists. There's a separate pure veg restaurant and a nice garden in front. Mosquitoes at night were a bit of a problem, though manageable with repellents and mats.

We spent one night here with family and found it good value for money. The rooms were clean, service was quick, and the staff were polite and helpful. There's ample parking.

The location was convenient, with shops and transport easy to reach, and the room had good ventilation and the essential amenities. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were polite, responsive and professional. It was a comfortable stay in a clean, well-kept room. Reliable and budget-friendly, with good value for money.
