La Moire Resort

We turned around without checking in after an argument with the owner, Santosh. We had booked two rooms for 23 Oct 2025, and when we asked for tea in the rooms, he said the resort was full and we had to go to the restaurant. He said kettles were available, but there were no tea or milk sachets. His manner felt very snobbish. We found another resort on the spot with nicer surroundings and better service. There are several good resorts near the temple and further along the road.

The surroundings are lovely, and we've eaten here while travelling between Bhimashankar jyotirling and Pune. It's a clean, hygienic place, with quick service and decent-tasting food. The washrooms could use better upkeep, though.

The food is good, though the menu is limited, and the rooms and bathrooms are nice. Service took a long time, especially getting food prepared and brought out, because just 4-5 people seem to run the whole resort. The same staff clean, cook, and serve, so service is basically zero. Still, it's a good place overall.

The natural scenery around the venue was lovely. I went for a marriage function, and the ambience, rooms, facilities, and parking were all nice. The food, however, wasn't up to the mark.
