Daiwik Hotels Shirdi

The food was good, especially the Shrikhad, a Maharastrian Sweet. The rooms were well maintained, and the staff were friendly and courteous. It's a decent place to stay, about a five minute walk from the temple. We used the in house taxi service, which was reasonably priced, and had a very comfortable stay.

I liked the place. The rooms seemed to have been renovated recently and were spacious and clean. Restaurant Aahan was good, with pretty decent breakfast choices too. One dish had a small preparation issue, and the chef readily admitted the mistake and apologised. It's about five minutes from Gate # 3, and the in house taxi was convenient. Most of the staff were welcoming and friendly, but the reception desk lead couldn't connect with me or anyone in my family. I didn't catch his name. I also found it odd that the parking attendant said cars shouldn't be parked in reverse, apparently because of hotel policy :-). My experience was very good overall, and I hope the front desk staff member is friendlier next time.

We had two fantastic days with family and friends. The staff were cordial and proactive, and they made a Bengali menu to suit our tastes. The rooms were excellent for the reasonable price, with clean, good quality bed linen and towels and a well kept bathroom. This hotel used to be called HOTEL SAI SANJIVANI.

The location is good, about 1.6 km from gate no. 1 of the mandir. But the stay was unsatisfactory. Power kept going out and there was no generator backup, and the AC wasn't working. Staff only came after repeated complaints. They could switch the AC on easily, but we couldn't do it with the same remote, so maybe there's another switch in the maintenance room.
