The location is good, but the washroom is damaged and needs attention. Room service should be quicker, too. No one answers the room service number.

0 for hygiene. I couldn’t sleep because bed bugs were crawling all over the bed at night. The room was filthy and poorly kept, and the cleanliness standards were nowhere near acceptable. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they seriously improve cleanliness and pest control.

Getting there is easy since Nakshatra Resort and Garden sits on the main road, very close to the National Highway, and there’s plenty of parking for a big crowd. It has different outlets for different kinds of events. The rooms are roomy and bright, with plenty of wardrobe space for clothes, ornaments, and personal items. The AC worked well, and the bathrooms have centralized hot water. The pool looked nice when I visited, but it was closed. The bar was being renovated, so that could be something to look forward to once it’s done. The resort has a lot going for it, though the service was slow and staff weren’t very attentive during busy events. There’s just one small lift, which is inconvenient at peak times. AC maintenance in the event and function areas also needs attention, especially in summer, when it can get uncomfortable.

We’ve been staying at this hotel for the past three years, and the previous staff were very good-natured. The new staff, especially the General Manager, are egoistic and arrogant. I recommend avoiding this hotel because of the staff and the newly appointed GM’s behavior.
