Meritas Seawind Beach Resort

The restaurant team provided very good service, and the food was prepared well. Staff in general were good and responsive, though the service still fell short, perhaps because they were overworked. The exterior looks good, but the rooms were not well maintained, and the cleaning and overall management were very disappointing. The pool is too small. This was below the Meritas standards we experienced earlier in Lonavala.

The location is a little away from the beach, something to consider if you want to stay near the shore. We spent two nights here over the New Year celebrations. The property was clean and well kept, and the rooms were roomy enough for three people. The pool felt small and got crowded at times. Food at the restaurant was fresh but only average to us, and the New Year’s Eve buffet was quite expensive for what it offered. Staff were helpful when we needed something, though the interactions felt more practical than warm. A decent option for a short visit, with some things that could be better.

Aaravi beach, about 15 minutes away, was pristine with white sand. The nearby beach, only around 300 MTRS from the resort, is a fisherman's beach and far too unclean for swimming. The resort itself is very good, with great rooms and top-notch food at Mumbai masala. It sits between Diveagar and Harihareshwar. Shrivardhan village is tiny, with little else to do. We had a great stay and I'd recommend the resort.

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, the pool was clean too, and the food was good in both taste and quantity, if a little overpriced. Check-in was easy and staff were cordial during our 26th Jan long weekend at Meritas Seawind resort. But the sound carries through the rooms like there's no insulation at all. You can hear everything from next door. We got unlucky with people shouting late into the night and a TV at full volume. God help you if that's your neighbors.
