The location is pretty good, but the hotel badly needs renovation. The rooms are shabby and need new wallpaper, and the old doors have locks that no longer work. Water seepage has left the bathroom door rotten, so it needs to be removed and refitted. There was a smell of smoke in both the rooms and corridors. The elevator is there, but it's very small and slow. The rooms are substandard. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless there's no other option.

Hot water was available in the morning, and breakfast was included at no extra cost. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the service was great. Staff are active around the clock, so you can arrive anytime. There's a small lift. It's a little expensive and not a good fit for budget travellers. The only downside I found was that the rooms aren't soundproof, so neighbours may disturb you at night.

The room was clean, but far too small for comfort, and the washroom was in extremely poor condition. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless necessary. I was extremely disappointed by the manager's behavior. Be careful about booking and checkout times: because we were 15-20 minutes late checking out, the manager insisted on charging us for an extra day. No one from the staff had sent me a reminder. The room service landline didn't work either, and the lift was so slow that I preferred using the stairs.

For people visiting Calicut for work, this is a good hotel, and it also suits solo travellers. The price is reasonable, breakfast comes with the room, and AC rooms are available for about ₹2000. You can walk to the KSRTC Stand, and there is parking. The main drawback is the one-way road.
