The service was very poor, and the room itself was unclean and unhygienic. The bedding and quilt looked used and dirty, and the kettle didn't work. The hotel seemed old and unmanaged. Its facade matched the pictures, but the front area was under construction after another bank had taken it over. The photos on goibibo or agoda may be old.

The location is the only good thing. The rooms are noisy with no soundproofing, the bathroom toilet jet didn't work, and everything else was below average. Food was an extra 500 included in the room rent, and it wasn't worth it.

The property is listed as 3 star, but it isn't maintained to that standard and the service fell short. I asked for tea several times, then waited 15 minutes only to get it cold. There are multiple hotel options in Chandigarh for less money. From me, it's a no to Hotel Pelican.

Worst experience with Pelican. Please teach some civic values to the bald guy at reception. He was such a nuisance, intercepted me, and argued over meaningless issues. I left without any refund. Hotels depend on customer feedback, so I'd personally advise the manager to improve the receptionist's skills and avoid giving Pelican a filthy image.

The hotel is old and currently being renovated. It’s in Industrial Area Phase 2, near tribune chowk, and there are better hotels nearby for the same price.
