The stay was okay, but the place is very old and really needs renovation. Facilities and amenities are getting worse, and the in-room offerings are limited. The bathroom had only shampoo and soap, with old linens and mattresses. There was no welcome drink or greeting when we arrived, and the food menu was limited. We also had water logging in the room.

I arrived around 7 p.m. for a company booking made through MakeMyTrip for 7-9th February 2023, and found the hotel locked from the outside with no security person there. Someone else told me to call the manager using the number on the hotel hoarding. He said they had no booking, so I sent my voucher over whatsapp as he asked. Later he called back and said they had stopped accepting MMT bookings and wouldn't let me check in. If I still wanted to stay, he said it would cost 5k, even though my company had booked it for 1.6k. Since lots of tourists come here, I assume this is a way to make money. From outside, the hotel doesn't even look worth 1.6k. Horrible experience and behavior. Avoid this at all costs, and don't make the mistake of booking through booking sites.

In March 2016, a friend and I arrived as pilgrims and needed somewhere to stay for the night, since finding accommodation later in the day was difficult. We trusted this big hotel and were offered a good rate while signing the accommodation paperwork. The next day, they changed the room prices and said the procedures meant nothing. They went back on what had been agreed verbally, and when we tried to leave, they held our luggage. It turned into a terrible fraud and a hellish experience.
