The greenery around the house is lovely and peaceful, and Shiv Dol is close enough to add a quiet spiritual note to the stay. Even with all that calm, the location is central and the property is managed very well. Inside, the rooms feel airy and restful, and everything from the linens to the shared spaces was clean and well cared for. Traditional touches give the place a homey feel without taking over. It suited our family well, especially for a longer, unhurried visit. The hosts and staff were warm and attentive, and meals were wholesome and nicely prepared. They handled requests easily without making the service feel intrusive. We found this heritage homestay while planning from the Middle East, and it became one of our best stays during our Assam trip. Thanks to the hosts for the local suggestions that made the trip richer.

The location made things easy, with everything accessible and beautiful trees around the property. It’s also just a short walk from Shiv dol, and we appreciated that there were no mosquitoes. Next door, you can pick up Royal enfield tshirts, and ask the hosts about taking you to restaurant heritage joysagar. Don’t miss it. We came from Dubai as a big family, with my sister and my brothers family and four toddlers. We booked three rooms, which meant we had the whole place, and felt it was safe, clean, and secure. Having a fully working kitchen was a big help for warming milk and other things for the kids. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and towels were clean, and the sofa bed was cozy too for families of more than three. The butler service was excellent and the food was great. The decor is tasteful and minimalist, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay and I’m happy to recommend it.

The warm people, home-style calm, and authentic food made me feel like I was back among my roots. The hosts welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was cozy, clean, and well looked after. A lovely stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and warmth.

The setting among all the greenery was lovely, and the location made it even better. We stayed with family last week and found the rooms spacious, clean, and well furnished. It could comfortably fit a large group of 18-20 people. The hospitality was top notch. Highly recommend.

The whole place has such a warm, cozy, calm feel, and it’s neat too. The interior work is lovely, really pleasing to look at, and the vibe is just right. I’d definitely pick this place whenever I stay in Sivasagar.
