There is a restaurant on the ground floor, and I stayed here for one night recently while in Siliguri for a bank exam. The hotel is fine overall. But if you're travelling to or from Darjeeling or Gangtok and your bus or train is at Tenjing Norge or NJP station, I'd suggest staying closer to tenjing norgay bus terminus for the night. Hotel Venkatesh is a little farther from Tenjing norgey bus terminus and siliguri junction than the other hotels around the junction.

I had a water problem here, and there wasn't proper communication with the manager to get it sorted out. It felt like a waste of money. Check the facilities before you go. I can't recommend the hotel, especially if you run into an issue like this, since it's frustrating.

The North East States theme room is especially nice and really appreciable. The rooms are clean, the food is good, and service is good too. Staff are polite and always ready to help. This is the only hotel I choose when I stay in Siliguri.

The staff are friendly and quick to respond when you ask for something, and the location right in the heart of Siliguri is excellent. It works well for a short stop while travelling to the airport or railway station. The rooms are quite cramped, with barely enough room to open luggage except on the bed. The water often looks muddy, and mosquitoes in the lobby and reception are uncomfortable. Fine for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer one.
